Expressing the Security and Development Needs in The Area:
On the basis of a much needed pragmatic strategy for consolidating future prosperity in South-Eastern Europe and the Mediterranean, it is evident that there is much fertile ground on best practices expressing current and future fiscal and social challenges. It is time to constructively negotiate the integration of the region’s countries into the relevant security structures, as long as they fulfill the needs of future co-operation and collaboration.
Ongoing transformations of the International Organizations, allow us to think both peripherally and globally. Security and development organizations can be a crisis management tool for existing, and frozen issues, with appropriate new and future initiatives and innovations. The upcoming conference in Thessaloniki, shall call on all sides of South-Eastern Europe and the Mediterranean, to take bold steps forward. To negotiate and resolve existing security problems, and express new security concerns (financial, social, political, legal); moreover, taking a look at methods of investment and development thought new construction projects but also the support of international consultation and research. Amongst them, to discuss and bring forward important issues that are of global concern through peripheral possible change.
Through the conference, Strategy International is set to promote a diplomatic, academic, professional and political agenda, that will permeate government levels but also the private sector. Strategy International will also seek to address all security and stability concerns in the Mediterranean and SE Europe areas.
The strategic location of Thessaloniki is important.
Thessaloniki is celebrating in 2012 its 100 years of liberation.
Thessaloniki was nominated the European Youth City in 2014. As such anything made from young people to the future can only be an asset.
Such conferences are important to the community, to the city to the people. to the state and to the region. It is an important time for us to discuss the future of the city as the ‘Capital City’ of the Balkans and Southe-Eastern Europe.
It will help assist the dissemination of the international community’s efforts in the area and to counter the fiscal crisis. To create credible institutions and far better credible communities of people. It will help start a practical discussion for joint and international development for the city, the region and the periphery.
As such, the goals of Strategy International regarding this international meeting are thus defined as:
a) Educating the public, opinion makers in Greece, the periphery of the Balkans, Europe and the World. Through Security affairs and resolution of conflicts and bilateral or multilateral affairs development can achieve progress.
